A Special Spell to Mend a Broken Heart

There are times we when all feel sad that a relationship has come to an end and it can be difficult to let go of your feelings. You may know that the person was absolutely wrong for you but yet you cannot seem to move on.If life has lost its lustre for you then try this simple spell to lift your spirits and help you start again.

The spell is best undertaken at the time of a waning moon to symbolically represent the end of the relationship.

You will need the following items

One blue candle, one pink candle, a pink rose and a book to press the petals of the rose between, a pink envelope and pen.

Letting go of the pain

Take the two candles and stand them on each side of the rose. Gently pluck a few of the rose petals and hold them in your hands. Visualise them draining you of all emotional pain.

Finding a new love

Next light the pink candle and imagine a new love coming into your life with the new moon. Continue the visualisation allowing yourself to imagine your ideal love and how happy you will be together.

Emotional healing

Now light the blue candle and think of emotional healing. Feel free to shed a few tears as this will help to release the pain. We all try to keep our feelings too tightly controlled, tears are the body's way or relieving stress and upset. better out than in! As the candles are burning, press the remaining rose petals between the pages of the book.

Allow the candles to burn out.

A week later take the rose petals from the book and seal them in a pink envelope and keep in your underwear drawer.

Write on the envelope the following words' l welcome new love into my heart, and look forward to a new start'

This ritual should banish from your thoughts all the old hurts and allow you to keep only the good memories from the relationship thus freeing you forever to love again.
